HTC Hero pathced recovery işlemi, ROM yükleme, APPS2SD ve CID işlemleri başlıklı yazıdaki adımlardan 7.adım da tamam hatta kvk dan alındığı içim cid kiliti kırma da tamam ama recovery olmuyor.c kısmında adb shell reboot bootloader komutu oldu ama sonrasında fastboot boot recovery-RA-hero-v1.5.3.1.img komutundan sonra faild hatası veriyor. a ve b şıkları zaten olmadı. aygıt yazılım sürümü:2.1 uptade1, anabant sürümü 63.18.55.06....., kernel sürümü 2.6.29-36d5cb8d htc kernel@and18-2#1, yazılım numarası 3.35.468.2 diyor. flashrec de çalışmadı. lütfen burdan itibaren bana yarcımcı olurmusunuz. teşekkürler

Issues? : Yeah, the WiFi, but I'll look into it later, and Somehow I can't download any themes. And the Music APP may crash if you have many songs.

How to Flash

Attention

If you phone boots fine the first time after flashing the ROM, but get stuck on boot after a reboot. Remove battery or press "Vol-down+trackpad+power" and hard-reboot the phone. After that it should work just fine.

Also note that even though we now have OpenGL support (Thanks to Drewis), the current kernel still needs a bit of work. Expect certain instabilities.

Bug Reporting

This is how you do a proper report on a problem. Do not go to the thread and write "My phone does not work". It is useless information that can be used for absolutely nothing other than for us to respond "To bad".

Instead you should provide proper information about what your issue is about, how/when it happened and possibly provide a logcat and/or partition/mount information when this seams needed.

We do not have access to your device, we cannot see what you see, so without proper information we have no way of knowing or finding out what caused your problem. Only you have the possibility of accessing the necessary information.

Known issues

Certain apps does not show in app drawer?
1. Go to app settings, locate your missing app, force close, delete data/cache and reboot.
2. If this does not work, type "m2sd fixperm" in a terminal if you have m2sd. Otherwise type "fix_permissions" and reboot.

Calendar does not sync?

Flash one of the two calendar fixes from the section "Extra Downloads".

Facebook?

Install 3'rd party app. It's a Facebook problem and has nothing to do with the ROM. Complain to Facebook if you don't like to use another app.

Some google apps gives permission problems?

Look for a notification about granting permission, grant this and restart the app. Some times 2 or 3 restarts are needed.

Market download problems?

Open app settings. Go to Market, force close, clear data/cache, reboot to recovery, clear dalvik-cache.
If this does not work, then open an ADB console or a local terminal on the phone and type "m2sd memcache enable". Then reboot. (Remember to enter "su" to grant superuser rights)

Market payment problems?

Delete your credit card information for your google account and re-add them.

HBoot

This ROM needs at least 180mb on the /system partition. Best choice would be AplhaRev Data++ as it leaves some space on /data as well.

Installing

Remember that it is always a good idea to clear dalvik-cache to avoid issues
This ROM is not signed, so disable signature verification before flashing
Do not restore app data from old Gingerbread backups (APK's are OK)

Mounts2SD

This ROM has an App2SD script included. By default it will move all APK files from data to sd-ext (If you have an sd-ext partition on the sdcard) and mount cache on a 128mb temp file system (If the cache is below 40mb).

Command Line
The script can be customized from a terminal using the command "m2sd ". You can type "m2sd help" to get a list of all available options.

GUI
You can also customize the script from with Settings->Performance->Mounts2SD

Init.d & Boot.d

If you want to include custom init scripts, then you should know that there are two directories where these can be placed. /system/etc/init.d which is where you want to place scripts that should be executed before the initial boot process begins, and /system/etc/boot.d where they will be executed while the boot process is running at the same time. The first sounds like the best option, however it has it's downside. First of all it is fragile. It does not take much to lock the phone in an boot loop. And second, init.d is executed before you have access to logcat.

Kernel & Ramdisk

If you flash another kernel, do not flash an entire boot.img but only zImage. Otherwise you will break Wifi among other things as this ROM is build with custom modifications to the dhcpcd control which is build-in to the ramdisk.

KSM Memory Management

Do to heavy memory load with OpenGL support, it is recommended to activate KSM to reduce the memory usage and avoid problems like random reboots.

This is done by going to "Settings"->"Performance"->"Memory Management" and check "Kernel samepage merging"

You can also activate zRam if you still encounter low RAM issues
